Project Description

The purpose of the poster is to promote a new energy drink. The logo was provided by the client along with some specifications that the poster needed to include, such as text and information on the product. One other specification the client required is that the poster have some sort of 3D element. The target audience for the poster are business professionals between the ages 25-35. The design needs to be eye catching for on the go individuals.

Project Description

What do you do with an energy drink? You grab and go, they are often consumed by customers who have busy lives and need a little pick me up so they can carry on with their day/ night. This is where the concept of a hand holding an energy drink came from. It is bold and in your face much like the hit and flavour of an energy drink. Next, I thought of when people most consume energy drinks, this is where the city at night in the background came from. The people who often consume energy drinks are usually in need of a pick-me-up because they are exhausted from their busy lives. The background colour choice is muted so that the foreground containing the products stands out more. For the text, I chose to pull colours and typography from the provided logo to tie everything together. I wanted to stick with the bold text, fitting in with the bold theme of the energy drink flavour and effects.
