Project Description
The purpose of the assignment was to create a minimum 4 page news paper/ magazine on the topic of our choice. The requirments were to follow the design principles such as layout, typography, alignment, heirarchy and contrast.The target audience for the Backpacking Australia Magazine are people between the ages of 25-35 who love to travel. Specifically, people who are interested in travelling to Australia either for a working holiday, or a backpacking trip.
Project Description
We were allowed to choose any topic we wanted, and given the choice to either write our own content or pull content from sources. I chose to build a magazine based on my experiences backpacking through Australia. I wrote all the content for the magazine and all the images are mine that I took throughout my trips there. The purpose of the magazine is to educate people who are currently travelling or planning to travel to Australia. It provides information about some popular spots for tourists along with dinning and night life. The images on the front and back cover are the only ones that were not taken by me. They were made using a combination of photos in photoshop.
